Some websites I have seen are highly informative and quite comprehensive (i.e. teachersfirst.com), however, are there some web sites with more ?stripped? down examples? I?m just looking for a basic schematc of which I can add some of my own ideas.

That?s not what you are supposed to do. You need to fully plan all your schemes of work and lesson plans yourself. That way you know very well all that you are doing for the satisfactory outcomes that the young people you are teaching require to pass exams and do good course work. I think you need to give your full attention to your very well paid job and be an owner of your subject. That way all will be well and great things achieved. There is no easy way out of this one
